Welcome to the
Information Center at Best Flight Raceway. This wonderful
facility was built in December 2006 for the enjoyment of residents
of Brian's World. Put together for members to visit, make
bets, |
|
Bettors: Members who come to bet will of course enjoy visiting all the facilities. But the real fun is checking out the previous races and making your own bets for the upcoming races to see if you can haul in some money by picking out the balloon that will finish 1st or 2nd in the official races. Bets are done by clicking on the Betting Machines that you will see outside on the grounds. If you win, you will be notified of your earnings. A $100 bet will win you $1,000.00 in return if you pick the winning balloon. $500 for 2nd place! There are optional perfecta and boxed perfecta races where you can make further bets and win big money. Racers: Members who already have their own balloon will only be required to pay the $200 entry fee to participate in the preliminary races. 5 balloons will race in each preliminary race. If your balloon places 1st, then you will have a chance to participate in an Official Race where you can earn up to $5,000.00 and have your balloon show as a winner in the Visitors Center along with the other exhibits. 2nd place will earn you $3,000.00. Important Race Information! A word of warning. Sometimes, things can happen to balloons that may require repairs or even replacement. So please understand if you decide to race at this track that there is a small possibility that your balloon could become damaged or ruined beyond repair. This is just a fact and the likelihood of something happening is higher at Best Flights than at most balloon race facilities! You must keep in mind that racing is mostly just for fun and that you won't get rich from racing. If you lose a balloon, you can just consider replacing it and moving on. It's fun to get a new balloon design sometimes anyway. Look at it this way: at Best Flights there is a chance that something could happen, but the pilots never get hurt physically. So what do you have to lose? Just have fun. |
